Summer Honors Pre AP Calculus
Registration Is Now Open!
Xcel and Beyond summer Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus enrichment course. The Xcel Honors Pre-Calculus summer course is a unique summer advancement course that offers Ambitious Advanced and Honors Algebra 2 as well as Advanced Pre-Calc students an opportunity to place into AP CALC BC, AP CALC AB or COLLEGE CALCULUS next year. It’s offered online from 5/1 to 7/31, Saturdays and Sundays (8-11AM) This course is unique because it follows strictly the the relevant NJ curriculum and thus better prepares student for their placement test, unlike other out of district summer programs which may either not cover the whole curriculum or add content that may not be relevant for the placement test. The course also offers the additional benefit of introducing students to all the major topics in AP Calculus to give students a leg up in their respective Calculus classes the following year. Even though, classes start in May, serious testing begins in late June when students are done with their regular school exams. Finally, Students who may wish to take additional summer classes are able to do so as this program will not interfere with that.
